My Current Skincare Routine — What She Does Every Morning and Evening

There is a woman who shows up at her mirror every single morning without fail.

She does not rush. She does not skip steps. She does not negotiate with herself about whether she has time. She simply shows up, for her skin, for her face, for herself.

That woman is me. And this is what she does.

Why I Show Up For My Skin Every Day

I did not start prioritizing my skincare because I was afraid of aging. I started because I was learning what it meant to choose myself.

There was a season in my life when standing at my mirror and caring for my face was one of the most grounding things I could do. Something about the ritual of it, the warmth of the water, the scent of the cleanser, the cool touch of a serum, brought me back to myself when everything else felt loud.

Skincare became self care. And self care became who she is.

I do not stand at my mirror trying to erase time. I stand there tending to myself. There is a difference and you can see it in the skin.

Her Morning Routine

My morning routine is how she greets the day. Intentional. Unhurried. Nourishing.

She Cleanses First

Every morning starts with a gentle cleanser. Not because I read that I should, but because clean skin is how she begins. It is a reset. A fresh start. The first act of showing up for herself before the world gets any of her.

I reach for something that leaves my skin feeling soft and ready, never stripped, never tight. That feeling matters to me. How my skin feels after I cleanse tells me everything about whether a product deserves a place in her routine.

Then a Toner or Essence

This step is quiet but it does so much.

After cleansing I press a toner or essence into my skin. I love this moment, there is something almost meditative about it. The way it absorbs. The way my skin drinks it in. It is preparation. It is care layered on care.

She does not skip this step.

Vitamin C Serum, Always

This is the one that changed everything for me.

I apply my Vitamin C serum every single morning and I have for years. Not because someone told me to, but because I noticed. I noticed the brightness. I noticed the evenness. I noticed the way my skin started to look like it was lit from somewhere inside.

That glow? That is not a filter. That is a woman who shows up for herself every morning without fail.

Moisturizer

She seals it all in.

A moisturizer in the morning, something lightweight that layers beautifully and lets her skin breathe through the day. I take a moment here. I do not rush. I press it in with warm hands and I feel grateful for the skin I am in.

This is not a chore. This is a ritual.

SPF, Non-Negotiable

She protects herself. Every single day.

SPF is the last step in her morning routine and the one she will never skip, not on cloudy days, not on days she is staying home, not ever. This is how she honors the skin she tends to daily. You protect what matters to you.

Her Evening Routine

The evening is where she repairs, restores, and returns to herself.

She Cleanses Away the Day

The evening cleanse is different from the morning one. It is an exhale. A release. She cleanses away everything the day left on her skin, the SPF, the city air, the energy of everything she moved through.

Some evenings I double cleanse. Some evenings one pass is enough. She listens to her skin.

Toner Again

The same quiet ritual. The same intentional preparation. She layers the care.

A Richer Moisturizer

At night she goes deeper.

The evening moisturizer is richer, more nourishing, something that works while she sleeps and lets her wake up with skin that feels as good as it looks. I take my time with this step. I massage it in slowly, upward strokes, the way someone would who truly loves what she is tending to.

Because that is exactly what she is doing.

What People Always Ask Me

They ask what products I use. They ask what my secret is. They ask how my skin looks the way it does.

And the honest answer is this, it is not one product. It is the showing up. Every morning. Every evening. Without negotiation.

She does not have perfect skin. She has tended skin. Loved skin. Chosen skin.

That is what you see when you look at her.

You Are Not Becoming Her

You do not need to learn how to do this. You already know how to care for yourself, that knowing is in you.

Maybe you just needed to see what it looks like when a woman actually does it. Every day. Without skipping. Without rushing. Without making herself an afterthought.

That is all I am showing you here.

You are not becoming HER. You are remembering her. 🤍

I share my skincare finds and rituals regularly on Instagram and TikTok come find me there and let me know what your skincare ritual looks like. 🤍
